I have been painting since I was seven years old. When I was a child, my favorite medium was oil pastel. (Does anyone remember playing with Cray-Pas?) Recently, I’ve returned to that medium, albeit with the gorgeous, artist-grade Sennelier oil pastels. I just love them!

The story of the lost negatives

I lost a bunch of film negatives. That meant that I also lost a bunch of images from my life. I did have a set of small, somewhat crappy machine prints of those images, though. Working with a local photo lab, I had the images restored from those prints. Some came out pretty great when printed at 10 inches, some came out great only at 5 inches (I call these Little Gems), and some just didn’t come out good at all. I was so happy to get those images back! The good ones are included on this site and are noted as archival inkjet prints. The only digital manipulation that was performed was done to match the original images as much as possible.
